Blade Kayaking in the Hermanus is a 1.5 hours adventure to explore our coastline from the sea in stable Kayaks.

We have a permit to Kayak in the Whale Sanctuary of Hermanus and so doing can ensure that we give the best experience to our clients.

Blade Charters is a member of the APA(African Paddling Association), and we adhere to very strict regulations and safety guidelines.

Each Kayak can take 2 persons and is a lovely way to encounter wildlife at sea, with the incredibly pretty back-drop of our mountains surrounding you.

Your Kayaking Tour Guide will give you a quick briefing, while you strap on a buoyancy aid, grab a paddle and enjoy the open sea.

Please ensure that you wear shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting wet and only bring small compact cameras that you can easily and quickly stow-away. It is advisable to bring along dry-bags to ensure that all your valuables will stay dry.

Trips wil be conducted 2 times per day, with the early morning trips usually being the best weather and sea conditions.

Sea Kayaking is a great Adventure Activity for all. Blade Charters provide this outdoor adventure in Hermanus. Kayaking in Hermanus is one of the biggest Tourist destination in South Africa.  The possibility to encounter Whales, Dolphins, Penguins, Seals and Birds are always there.
